Channels help you keep your datasets organized and easy to share. If you want to keep things private, you can create a private channel so only selected people can access it.
If you want to invite or remove users from any channel, you can go here.

✅ Creating a New Channel
- In the sidebar menu, click on settings and after channels.
Here you can see the main and other created channels, the creating data and short description of it.

Select “+ Add new Channel”.

Fill in the channel details:
- Name: Provide a descriptive name (e.g., “South Coast Wetlands 2024”).
- Description: Optionally describe the purpose or content of the channel.
- Privacy Settings: Choose whether the channel is private by clicking the box on the bottom.

Click Create.
✏️ Managing Existing Channels
To manage a channel:
- Go to the Channels section located in the settings dashboard.
- Click on the channel name to open its settings.
- Use the actions colum to access:
- General settings: Edit name and description
- Invite new channel user: Add or remove users by adding their email address. (To edit users role go to Channels: Inviting or removing users)
- Delete de chanel: use that icon to permanently delete the channel (if you are the owner of the team or contributor ).
- Leave the channel: you can leave and join channels as you please, they will be kept in there if you want to join back again.
