One way to select and filter 2D data and pins to be seen in the map can be by using the time slider or in data manager (see How to manage,navigate and share data).
The time slider is a powerful tool that allows users to filter and explore 2D map data and pins based on a specific time range. Located along the bottom of the map interface, the slider displays data points plotted across a timeline.

To focus on a particular period, you can use the Movable Selector—marked by two blue arrows—to define the desired time window. Only the data points that fall within this selected range will be visible on the map, helping you to narrow your view and analyze temporal trends more effectively.
